Faculty and Staff in the ICR
Among the outstanding strengths of the ICR are its faculty and staff. The collective intellectual and professional expertise within the Institute is evident in the broad range of disciplinary traditions represented by the faculty—from psycholinguistics and political science to sociology, history of communications, and cultural studies of science and medicine. Faculty publications appear in print sources that span the spectrum of the humanities and social sciences. At the same time, the interdepartmental work experience of the staff—from computer science to social science, from radio/television and psychology to communications research—constitutes invaluable institutional knowledge about the resources, services, and infrastructure of the campus, making the everyday running of a large academic enterprise like the ICR smooth and efficient.
