The Alan Guttmacher Institute (AGI) is a nonprofit organization focused on sexual and reproductive health research, policy analysis and public education. AGI publishes Perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health, International Family Planning Perspectives, The Guttmacher Report on Public Policy and special reports on topics pertaining to sexual and reproductive health and rights. The goal of AGI is to support individual's ability to obtain the information and services needed to achieve their full human rights, safeguard their health and exercise their individual responsibilities in regard to sexual behavior and relationships, reproduction and family formation.
Alliance for Public Technology
Concerned with fostering access to affordable and useful information and communication services and technologies by all people, APT is composed of public interest groups and individuals, some of whom historically have been left out of the Information Age, including the elderly, minorities, low income groups and people with disabilities.

The Center for Alternative Technology (CAT) is concerned with the search for globally sustainable, whole and ecologically sound technologies and ways of life.
Within this search the role of CAT is to explore and demonstrate a wide range of alternatives, communicating to other people the options for them to achieve positive change in their own lives.
Center on Budget and Policy Priorities - Health Policy Page
The Center conducts research and analysis to inform public debates over proposed budget and tax policies and to help ensure that the needs of low-income families and individuals are considered in these debates. In addition, the Center examines the short- and long-term impacts that proposed policies would have on the health of the economy and on the soundness of federal and state budgets. Among the issues we explore are whether federal and state governments are fiscally sound and have sufficient revenue to address critical priorities, both for low-income populations and for the nation as a whole.

With expertise in law, technology, and policy, CDT seeks practical solutions to enhance free expression and privacy in global communications technologies. The Consumer Project on Technology was started by Ralph Nader in 1995. Its work is documented extensively on the CPTech web page as well as through its multiple listserves. Currently CPTech is focusing on intellectual property rights and health care, electronic commerce (very broadly defined) and competition policy.

Legal Information Institute
LII's mission is to carry out applied research on the use of digital information technology in the distribution of legal information, the delivery of legal education, and the practice of law. Internationally as a leading "law-not-com" provider of public legal information, LII offers all opinions of the United States Supreme Court handed down since 1992, together with over 600 earlier decisions selected for their historic importance, over a decade of opinions of the New York Court of Appeals, and the full United States Code. We also publish important secondary sources: libraries in two important areas (legal ethics and social security) and a series of "topical" pages that serve as concise explanatory guides and Internet resource listings for roughly 100 areas of law.
