Kent A. Ono receives the National Communication Association's Critical and Cultural Studies Division Book of the Year Award

Kent A. Ono has received the National Communication Association's Critical and Cultural Studies Division Book of the Year Award for his co-authored book (with John M. Sloop), Shifting Borders: Rhetoric, Immigration, and California's "Proposition 187." Philadelphia: Temple University Press, 2002. This award will be presented at the C&CS Division's Business Meeting, Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at the National Communication Association Convention in Chicago.
